I didn't watch the movie for the action, and you'll note it wasn't the quality of action scenes I highlighted in my mini-review. It was the character interaction that I enjoyed most. But if you have a particular aversion to action scenes in general, then no, this might not be for you.
It's not that I have an aversion to them. It's just that if a movie isn't about people/places/things I care about, then the witty lines aren't likely to be that much of a draw.
It's sort of strange -- the only superhero setting I've grown up with was X-Men, and some Spiderman. I've never read the comics as a child; really only watched the feature films over the last two-three years. Yet I find myself to have picked up enough of the mythos from the vapour of popular culture that I both know these characters and enjoy the story. YKMV :)
